Nyong’o came on the show briefly to talk about the joys of laughter.
The actress, who was born in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish, went on Mexico's Sesame Street for a short clip about celebrating laughter.
In translation: “Hello, I’m Lupita. Today I want us to celebrate Laughter Day. Do you know how to laugh? Why don’t we laugh together? Ready, 1, 2, 3!”
