Born at just 23 weeks and 6 days, doctors said she probably wouldn’t make it. But she proved everyone wrong.
Due to complications, Kelley Benham and Tom French had their baby girl at just 23 weeks and 6 days, roughly halfway to full term. Doctors call this this the "gray zone," as it's right on the line of what's medically possible.
When tiny Juniper was born, she weighed in at just 1 pound, 4 ounces.
Her parents were told that there was an 80% chance she would either die or develop serious disabilities.
They almost lost her countless times in the hospital.
