Environmentalists in Italy are fuming over what's happening at Pergole beach in Realmonte, Sicily, the Guardian reports.

MareAmico, an Italian environmental group, flew a drone over the beach over the weekend to show cars swarming the beach, just at the water's edge.

"Reckless parking on the magnificent Realmonte beach flourishes again this year, despite the promises made in winter by the council, which said it wanted to solve the problem," the group said in a statement this week, the Guardian reported. "It is not even August yet and the season hasn't fully got going, and on Sunday dozens and dozens of cars were parked just a few centimeters from the water without this uncivil practice being forbidden by any authority."
