Morgan and six other passengers were inside a limo bus on June 7, when a Walmart truck crashed into it, causing it to flip over and hit four other vehicles.
Morgan, 45, was critically injured and was rushed by helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for surgery.
The collision on the New Jersey turnpike killed Morgan's fellow passenger, 63-year-old comedian James McNair.
Other passengers Jeffrey Millea and Ardie Fuqua, Jr. were also critically injured in the crash on Saturday. The statement on Monday said that Millea had been upgraded to fair condition.
