Flanaghan said he recognized the toy's worth because he used to collect Beanie Babies.
They verified that the bear was a first-edition bear, which can be sold for thousands of dollars on eBay.
One similar bear is currently listed for $375,000. However, the couple listed theirs at a starting price of approximately $30,000, according to the Daily Mail.
The couple said they hope to earn a significant amount of money from the sale to put toward their first home.
"We couldn't believe it. We picked it up for £10 and it could be worth tens of thousands," Rogers said.
