Texan Firefighters Finish Mowing Lawn For Man Who Died Of A Heart Attack

Photos posted to Facebook of the kind deed have gone viral.


On Tuesday, John McCormick, 65, suffered a heart attack while mowing his lawn in Bayton, Texas.

A neighbour took pictures and posted them to the City of Baytown page on Facebook – they quickly went viral.

Firefighter Blake Steffanauer told the station: "I just happened to get off the truck first, had the lawnmower first – we were all fighting over it."

They finished the job and left a note saying: "We felt bad that your husband didn't get to finish the yard, so we did.".
