A number of Sony films were leaked to the internet last week, including Fury, which stars Brad Pitt, and unreleased movies such as Annie and Mr. Turner, Variety reported.

According to the BBC, when asked about the allegations, a spokesman for North Korea said: "The hostile forces are relating everything to the DPRK (North Korea). I kindly advise you to just wait and see."

According to Variety , a statement from the bureau declared: "The targeting of public and private sector computer networks remains a significant threat, and the FBI will continue to identify, pursue, and defeat individuals and groups who pose a threat in cyberspace."
